Sydney Chandler, star of FX and Noah Hawley’s upcoming Alien: Earth, and Shōgun star Takehiro Hira are currently in production on road-trip sci-fi film Anima, which is being produced by celluloid only outfit Kebrado and Fieldhouse Pictures.
Written and directed by documentarian Brian Tetsuro Ivie (Emanuel) in his narrative directorial debut, the film tells the story of an impulsive young woman and a reclusive older man who launch on a poignant cross‑country road trip. Their mission: to preserve his failing consciousness via an experimental memory‑upload procedure at a cutting‑edge facility.

EXCLUSIVE: Fox’s ad-supported VOD service Tubi has acquired Destry Allyn Spielberg’s directorial debut, horror-thriller Please Don’t Feed The Children, for the U.S. and Canada.
The film, which will launch on June 27, stars Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Zoe Colletti (Only Murders In The Building), Andrew Liner (Ransom Canyon), Dean Scott Vazquez (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) Regan Aliyah (Ironheart), Emma Meisel (Doogie Kameāloha), Josh Melnick (Saint X) and Vernon Davis (A Day To Die).
It is produced by Perry Street Films presented in association with Head Gear Films and Metro Technology & Fieldhouse Pictures in association with Altitude Film Entertainment & Sugar23 a BK Studios production. The film is produced by Jason Dubin, Josh Kesselman, Michael Hagerty, Daniel Ryniker, Bill Kenwright.
